Description
The Statue of Dying Gaul, likely from the early 18th century, was installed around 1930 by Achille Duchene. This lead statue is positioned on a limestone ashlar pedestal that features a moulded plinth, cornice, and a fretted frieze. The statue is located approximately 5 meters south of the East Terrace of Water Terrace Gardens. Blenheim Park, where the statue is situated, is recognized in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade I.
