Description
Slatters Farmhouse and Slatters Farm Cottage is a farmhouse that has been converted into two dwellings, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof, with stone stacks at the ridge and right end, and a brick stack at the left end added in the 20th century. The building has a four-unit plan and is one storey with an attic, displaying a four-window range. The exterior includes timber lintels above two 20th-century doors and 20th-century casements, as well as gabled dormers. Inside, there are heavy stop-chamfered beams throughout, and winder stairs next to a large open fireplace on the right. The part to the left and the roof have not been inspected but are likely to have historical interest.
