Description
Inns Keep is a house dated "G/JE/1729" located on Church Road in Milton-under-Wychwood. The building features a freestone front with rusticated quoins and a Cotswold stone roof, along with an ashlar end chimney on the left side. It is two storeys high with an attic, and has a central gabled dormer. The house has two windows on the front, which are 2-light edge-chamfer mullion windows with cornices, leaded casements, and cast-iron stays. There is a central oval panel on the first floor, which may be made of slate. The entrance includes a central 20th-century ledged door with a raised surround and a bay. This house is likely to have been a quarry-master's residence.
