Description

Heath Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century, is a farmhouse constructed of freestone with rusticated quoins and a stone slate roof. It features a 20th-century brick chimney on a stone base and is a simple example of the local baroque style. The building is two-and-a-half storeys high and includes a central gabled dormer. There are two windows with glazing bar sashes that have keys. The central entrance is a half-glazed door with scroll brackets beneath a stone hood with an open pediment.

Inside, the ground floor front room has a large fireplace with an eared architrave surround, and there is a newel stair to one side. Attached to the southeast is a rubble barn extension, which is now roofed in corrugated iron. This barn has three bays and features a projecting hipped gable entry at the center, with a catslide roof to the right.
