Description

This dovecote, located approximately 50 meters east of Duck End House, is likely from the 17th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features a Stonesfield-slate roof. The building has a square plan and stands two stories tall. The original front includes a low, heavy-framed door and a small square opening below the gable, which is also found on the other sides. The rear has a later, larger doorway. Inside, there are stone nesting boxes, and a first floor has been added.
