Description

The churchyard cross, located approximately 18 meters east-north-east of the north porch and 17 meters north of the chancel of the Church of St. Michael, is a Grade II listed structure. It dates from the 15th century and the 19th century. The cross and shaft are made of limestone and were created in the mid-19th century, resting on a 15th-century octagonal plinth. The cross is set on a square base with two steps. It was drawn by Richard Buckler around 1820, and the drawing can be found in the Bodleian Library.
