Description
Thrupp Farm Cottages is a house that has been converted into three cottages, two of which are now derelict. The building dates back to the 17th century and was remodelled in the mid to late 19th century. It features colourwashed limestone rubble on the ground floor and is rendered, with light timber framing and angle braces on the front of the cross wing. The roof is gabled and covered with old tiles, and there is a brick ridge stack along with a lateral brick stack on the cross wing, which has stone dressings. The structure has a two-unit plan with a cross-wing and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. There are three doors from the mid to late 19th century, as well as 19th-century two- and three-light casements. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
