Description

East House, Middle House, and West House form a group of dwellings that originated in the 17th century, with significant alterations and additions in the 18th and 19th centuries. A further addition was made in the 20th century. The buildings are constructed with a rendered plinth and roughcast walls, likely on brick, and have plain-tile roofs, half-hipped to the right. Numerous brick stacks are present.

The main block is a two-storey, four-window range facing the garden. It features an early 20th-century plank door set within an early 20th-century porch positioned to the right of centre. The windows are generally irregular sash windows with glazing bars, except for a 20th-century casement window to the left of centre. An 18th-century addition extends to the left, built of rendered brick and featuring a 20th-century plain-tile roof. This addition is a two-storey, two-window range with irregular, mostly 20th-century casement windows.

The interiors of East House and West House were not inspected. The interior of Middle House includes a queen-post roof, an open-well staircase connecting the ground and first floors, and early 18th-century fielded panelling in a ground floor room. Some rooms retain early 18th-century two-panel doors.
