Description
The building comprises two houses, dating to the 17th century with a later 18th-century addition. The front of the houses is rendered, likely on brick, with a plain-tile roof and brick endstacks. The main two-storey, two-window range is set at a right angle to the street, featuring a central four-panel door with a segmental brick head. The ground floor has three-light casements, while the first floor has three-light casements with leaded lights. A brick dentil course runs along the eaves. The rear range, facing the street, features large timber framing with painted brick infill in the centre and to the right, and rendered walls, likely on brick, to the left, topped with an old plain-tile roof. A chimney stack is not visible from the street. The rear range has a single storey and attic, composed of a two-bay range with a single bay of two storeys to the left. It has plank doors to the left of centre and to the right, with irregular window placement. A raking dormer is present to the right, and a gabled dormer to the right of centre. The interiors have not been inspected. The property is included on the list for its group value.
