Description
The Old Vicarage is an 18th-century building with additions from the early and late 19th century. It features limewashed roughcast walls and a steeply pitched gabled stone-tiled roof on the southeast side, while the northwest and southwest sides have slate roofs. The original 17th-century range is set at right angles to the road and consists of two storeys and an attic, with three bays and three gabled dormers that are lit by two-light casements with leaded glazing. The upper floor has sash windows with four panes, while the ground floor includes French windows and one sash window. A part-glazed veranda supported by cast iron columns runs along the length of the ground floor. The early 19th-century addition to the southwest is two storeys high and features a projecting bow, while the later 19th-century addition is also two storeys and is located at the rear of the original house.
