Description

The urn located approximately 10 metres north west of the door at Ashdown House is a mid-19th century feature, likely made of Coadestone. It has coiled handles and an egg and dart moulding around the lip. The design includes vine leaves, drops of fruit, and grotesque masks. The urn is set on a rectangular stone base with a moulded plinth. This urn is included in the listing for its group value with Ashdown House.
