Cottage, probably C17 origins, mid/late C18, and C20 extension. Rendered rubblestone and shingle-clad and rendered timber frame with Straw-thatch roof. Plain-tile outshut roof. Brick central ridge stack. Brick and stone plinth. Originally 2-unit plan. 2-storey, 2-window range. Facing gable (shingle-clad) has door and porch on end of outshut to left and small 1-light windows to right. Right side has 2 old 2-light leaded casements over two 3-light casements, that to right leaded, and both with Gothic-arched lights. Left side has outshut and a 3-light and a 2-light eyebrow dormer. C20 2-storey extension and a lean-to to rear. Interior: back-to-back brick open fireplaces with bressumers, one retaining bread oven. Chamfered spine beams. Double purlin roof with principals supported on central brick wall and stack. End gable trusses visible, one cut through. Included for group value only.
