Description
Manor Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed with Flemish bond brick and squared, coursed chalk on the sides and rear. It features a 20th-century tiled roof and brick stacks. The building has a three-unit lobby entry plan and is two stories high with a six-window range. A 19th-century flat hood and a cambered brick arch are above the four-panelled door, which has two glazed panels. There are similar arches over the 20th-century casements, and an original blind window is located above the door. A leaded casement with an S-light is found at the rear. The farmhouse has a raised storey band and a hipped roof with a brick ridge stack. Inside, there are chamfered and stopped beams, and the dog-leg staircase with a landing at the rear right features early 18th-century moulded balusters and a square newel post. To the rear left is a contemporary service wing with a three-window range, a ridge stack, and an original three-light leaded casement in the rear gabled wall. There is also a late 20th-century flat-roofed extension to the left.
