Description

Normanby Cottage is a house dating circa 1820. It is built of brick, now rendered with a limewash finish, and has a hipped slate roof with roughcast stacks at each end. The south front has three bays, with four-pane sash windows and a centrally placed, full-height glazed door sheltered by a slightly projecting gabled porch. A two-storey extension is located to the west. This extension has a 2-light casement window on the upper floor, above a plank and batten door, both beneath a porch with a flat hood.
