Description

This barn, located approximately 25 meters southeast of numbers 28 to 34 (even) at Green Farm, is likely from the early 17th century and features re-used cruck blades. The structure has an uncoursed stone rubble plinth and is built with close-studded timber-framing covered in weatherboarding. The roof is thatched and half-hipped to the right. It is a five-bay barn with plank double doors at the center and a partly-blocked opening at the rear. Inside, there is a double queen-post roof supported by two tiers of windbraces, and some of the tie-beams are re-used cruck blades.
