Description

The Rotunda, located approximately 400 metres northwest of Buckland House, was built around 1757, likely by John Wood the Younger for Sir Robert Throckmorton. It features limestone ashlar construction and a limestone ashlar roof, supported by unfluted Roman Ionic columns and topped with a domed roof. Inside, there is an urn by Romaine Walker from around 1910, which commemorates the knights of Kerry. The Rotunda is set within a circular enclosure that includes a ha-ha.
