Description
This barn, located approximately 4 meters east of The Plough Public House, is likely from the early 18th century and has undergone some alterations. The structure features a stone uncoursed rubble plinth on the left, a brick plinth in the center, and a rendered plinth on the right. The barn is clad in weatherboarding, which is probably supported by timber framing on the left and center, while the right side has large timber framing with rendered infill. The roof is thatched and the barn is single-storey, measuring about 8 bays in length. There are double plank doors on the left and to the left of center, along with three 20th-century three-light casements in the center and a single 20th-century three-light casement on the right. The interior has not been inspected. This barn is included for its group value.
