Description

The Peek Monument is a chest tomb located approximately 15 metres south of the chancel of the Church of All Saints. It dates from around 1821 and is made of stone. The tomb features a rectangular base with a moulded plinth. The chest has recessed corners that contain attached vase balusters, and it has moulded panels with inscriptions on the north and south sides. The moulded lid commemorates William Peek, who died in 1821, and his wife Mary.
