Description

Nos 26 and 27 are a pair of semi-detached cottages built around 1840 for the 2nd Earl of Radnor. They are designed in the Cotswold vernacular style, constructed from rubble stone with stone dressings and feature a gabled slate roof with a central stone ridge stack. The gable projections are less pronounced compared to other estate cottages. The cottages are two storeys high and have 2 and 3-light mullioned windows with diamond glazing. Each cottage has a gabled side porch with a plank door. These cottages are included for their group value.
