Description

These are two late 18th-century buildings on East Street Helen. They are rendered and have slate roofs. The buildings are three storeys high, with a wood eaves cornice. Each building has two windows, featuring flush frames and double-hung sashes with glazing bars. On the first floor, the windows are flush-framed and have a frieze with moulded lozenge ornament and a small cornice, also with double-hung sashes and glazing bars. The entrance has two eight-panel doors, two of which are glazed, flanked by fluted pilasters that support a continuous band. A single pilaster is on the right. Above the doors are two flush-framed windows with double-hung sashes. Numbers 17 to 35 (odd numbers) combine to form a group.
