Description

This barn, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 10 meters south of Ham House. It features 20th century weatherboarding over a timber frame set on a brick base, topped with a concrete tile roof. The barn has a four-bay single-aisle plan and includes a porch with a hipped roof, flanked by a front aisle with a half-hipped roof. Inside, the structure has posts that are braced to tie beams and wall plates, and a four-bay collar-truss roof with clasped purlins. The barn is included for its group value with the nearby Ham House.
