Description

The Port Well is an early 19th-century stone well-head located in Great Faringdon Market Place. It has a four-sided design with chamfered corners. Each side features a round-headed panel with an architrave and keyblock, along with a small oblong panel above the rebated corners. At the top, there is a pyramidal structure that supports a scrolled iron double lamp bracket.
