KINGSTON LISLE SU38NW 6/94 Kingston Lisle House, stables approx 150 metres north.

GV II

Stables and Coach-house. in Kingstone Lisle Park (q.v.). Early C19. Chalk ashlar limestone dressings; squared and coursed chalk; Flemish bond brick to rear; Welsh slate roof. Central block flanked a single storey wing. Tudor Revival Syie. 2 1/2-storey. 6-window range; 2:2:2 facade doors to side wings adjoin central block: limestone segmental arches with raised key over rebated 6-panelled and double doors. Label moulds over cavetto-moulded and stone - mullioned 2-light windows with arched heads except similar 3-light windows to ground floor of central block; original latticed leaded lights, removed from ground floor central and right blocks. Moulded stone architrave with flat head over central loft doors; single-light window in similar style to top of surmounts ridge of central block; gabled roof; rear lateral stack.
