Description
Hazeldene is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with dark glazed headers and features an old tiled roof with brick stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and is two stories high, with a three-window range. There is a segmental arch over a six-panelled 20th-century door, which is topped by an original bracketed flat hood. The ground floor has segmental arches over the original three-light leaded casements. The eaves are dentilled, and the roof is half-hipped with a ridge stack. The interior has not been inspected. At the rear left, there is a mid-19th century wing also built of Flemish bond brick, with a tiled roof, dentilled eaves, and a lateral stack. In front of the house, there is mid-19th century iron railing and a gate.
