Description
Fettyplace Cottage is a house dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It has a timber frame with late 20th century brick infill, featuring square framing and diagonal braces. An exposed queen post truss can be seen in the right gable wall. The ground floor timbers were all replaced around 1970, and the cottage has a late 20th century tiled roof with a brick stack. The building follows a two-unit lobby-entry plan and is one and a half storeys tall, with a three-window range. It has late 20th century doors and casements, a gabled roof, and a ridge stack. The interior has not been inspected. There is a late 20th century bay to the left and a wing to the rear left.
