Description

The bridge and cascade, located approximately 600 meters northeast of Buckland House, date from the mid-19th century and the cascade is likely from the mid-18th century. The bridge is made of wrought iron and features a segmental arch with iron hoops in the spandrels. The end rails of the bridge are adorned with a wreathed design on a swept limestone ashlar base. This structure is included for its group value as an important feature in the setting of Buckland Park.
