Description
This is a mid-19th century urn, one of a pair, located approximately 10 metres south-west of the door at Ashdown House. It is likely made of Coadestone and features coiled handles, an egg and dart moulding around the lip, and decorative vine leaves with drops of fruit and grotesque masks. The urn is set on a rectangular stone base with a moulded plinth. It is included in the listing for its group value with Ashdown House.
