Description

COLESHILL SU29SE Collymore Farmhouse 4/72 including former Cattle Shed range to SE

Farmhouse. Late C18 with C19 additions. Chequered brick and stone tiled roofs with ridge brick stacks. 2 storeys and attic. N front has flanking half hipped gabled wings, each of one bay, the right hand with sash windows 6 panes wide the left-hand with 3-light casements and door on ground floor. Central smaller later gable, 2 storeys, similar sash windows and lean-to porch to right hand. S front of 3 bays, first floor string course, dormers. Outer upper windows 6 panes wide, centre 4 panes wide. Early C19 angular bays with hipped stone tiled roofs on ground floor and central gabled porch with stone tiled roof. No contemporary internal features survive. C18 Cattle Shed range (now garages) of rubble stone and brick dressings with a half hipped stone tiled roof to the SE.
