Description

The wall located approximately 15 meters south of Cox's Hall dates from around 1739. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a limestone ashlar coping. The wall features brick piers that have a chamfered stone plinth, a stone astragal, and an entablature. There are plank double gates at the entrance. The wall continues as a plain rubble structure to the west. Behind this wall, there is a mid-18th century terrace that includes two sets of attached steps leading down to the garden.
