Description
Village Farmhouse is a mid-17th century farmhouse that was encased around 1786, with a date inscribed on the brickwork of the ground floor to the left. It is constructed of red brick featuring random flared headers in Flemish bond. The roof is covered with plain tiles from the 19th century, and there is a brick ridge stack located to the right of the center, along with a lateral stack at the rear. The building originally had a three-unit lobby-entry plan and is two stories tall with a four-window range. The windows exhibit irregular placement and consist of 19th-century casements. A 18th-century plank door is found on the right return. Inside, there is a straight flight staircase from the 19th century and an open fireplace situated to the right of the center on the ground floor. The ground floor also features chamfered spine beams.
