Description
Rose Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with a probable refronting in the 18th century and alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The ground floor is constructed of flint with brick dressings, and there are three courses of tiles between the ground and first floor. The front is finished in red brick, while the side is rendered. The roof is tiled, and there are brick stacks at the gable ends. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring a three-window range. On the ground floor, there are three 3-light wooden casements from the 20th century, along with a central 6-panel door set in a 20th-century porch. The first floor has two 2-light wooden casements flanking a single light casement. To the right, there is a flat-roofed 20th-century dormer. To the left, there is a one-storey, one-window wing, and to the right, a two-storey, one-bay wing that has a brick and flat base with a rendered timber frame on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
