Description
This is a barn dating from the early to mid-18th century, constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble and topped with a corrugated iron roof. It has a five-bay layout featuring a central porch with full-height doors on opposite sides. The gable of the weatherboarded porch includes holes for a dovecote. Each bay and the gable walls have slit openings, and there is a pitching door on the left gable. On either side of the porch, there are lean-to open sheds from the late 18th or early 19th century, which have rubble end walls. Inside, the barn features a butt-purlin roof.
