Description

The garden wall of Number 40 is an 18th to 19th century structure located on the south side of New Street. It is 8 feet high and constructed from red brick and flint. This wall flanks the passage opposite Numbers 24 to 30. It is part of a group that includes Numbers 2 to 76 (even) and Numbers 1 to 33 (odd), as well as the walls associated with Numbers 32 to 40 (even).
