Description
10 Friday Street is a late 17th-century building with an early 19th-century stuccoed facade and a tarred plinth. It features a steeply pitched, old tiled roof and stands two storeys tall with three windows. The first-floor windows have modern glazing, while the ground floor includes a sash window, a central doorway with a bracketed hood, and a six-panelled door, of which the top two panels are now glazed. To the west, there is a small early 19th-century shop window with a bracketed hood above, and all windows have plain architraves and bracketed sills. Inside, some timber framing is visible, along with a large corner brick fireplace and stack. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 35 (odd), 45 to 65 (odd), Old Timbers, Friday Cottage, No 73, and others, forming a cohesive historical context in the area.
