Description
No. 15 The Green North is a house dating from the early 18th century, with an extension added in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed clunch rubble with brick dressings and some flint banding, topped by an old plain-tile roof featuring brick gable stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The front has two windows, with a brick storey band and flint banding. There is a doorway to the right of centre, which is sheltered by a 19th-century open porch, and it is flanked by two-light casements with brick flat arches on both the ground and first floors. To the right, there is a lower clunch range that includes a doorway and two casements, along with a small roof dormer. An outbuilding range projects from the right end and has a weatherboarded gable facing the road. The lower range features stones inscribed with "TP 1756" and "A(?) 17(?)6". The interior has not been inspected.
