Description

The chest tomb to the Burges family is located approximately 1 meter south of the tower of the Church of Saint Peter in Wallingford. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of stone. The tomb is rectangular in shape and features a moulded plinth with two oval panels on each side, along with cabled fluting at the ends and in the middle. There is a single oval panel at each end, and the top is deeply moulded and shaped.
