Description
This is an outbuilding located approximately 30 meters north of The Old Tudor House in Kingston Blount. It dates from the 17th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The structure is built of flint with brick dressings at the plinth, and features red brick on the ground floor. The first floor has close studded timber framing with rendered infill, topped by an old plain-tile half-hipped roof. The building has a single-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. There is a 20th-century plank door on the right and a 20th-century casement window on the left. Above the tie-beam at the gable end, there are 20th-century glazed panels. The gable end also features a double Queen-post roof truss. At the rear, there are two 18th-century barns that are timber framed and consist of three bays each. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the nearby structures.
