Description

The Homestead is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the 17th century to the rear, with a front section likely built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers, and has a plain tile roof with brick end stacks. The building follows a two-unit plan. It has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window front. The central door is a six-panel design with glazed sections. Casement windows are present in all openings. A gambrel roof is topped with three dormers, each containing two lights. The interior features 17th-century stop-chamfered spine beams and joists in the kitchen at the rear, along with a straight staircase incorporating a winder.
