Description
Mill Cottages and Hill Farm House is a farmhouse and attached cottage dating from the 17th century, with 19th-century extensions and 20th-century alterations. The building features irregular timber framing in the center with brick infill, and brick on the left and right sides. It has a plain tile roof and brick stacks. The structure has an L-shaped plan and is two stories high with a five-window range. There is a 20th-century glazed porch on the right with a plank door, and a stable door on the left. The fenestration is irregular, with casement windows. To the right, there are two cross-gables, which may be from the 19th century. A hipped roof projects from a 19th-century wing on the right, made of red brick with grey headers, and it is also two stories tall with a central ridge stack and end stacks on the left and right. The interior has not been inspected.
