Description

A row of six cottages, now primarily shops, likely dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations in the 20th century. The construction is flint with brick dressings, topped by a plain tile hipped roof and brick stacks. The building has two storeys and an 8-window front. A plank door is located on the right-hand side. Modern half-glazed doors have been inserted to the left and right of centre, and to the left. The ground floor windows are mostly 20th-century shop windows, except for two 3-light wood casements with segmental brick heads to the right of centre. The first floor features 3-light casements, with a blind panel to the left of centre. A dentil cornice runs along the eaves. Ridge stacks are positioned to the left and right of centre, and centrally. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
