Description

This barn, located approximately 5 meters north of the farmhouse at The Farm, dates back to 1734. It is constructed from limestone rubble and features an old plain tile roof. The barn has a three-bay plan, with a rubble plinth and stone gable parapets that include slit windows on the sides and ends. There is a central full-height entrance, while the rear opening has been altered but was likely originally positioned at a high level. Inside, the barn contains two trusses with curved under-principals that support two rows of purlins. One of the tie beams is roughly inscribed with "RT 1734," and the other has "TT 1734" gouged with a 1-inch chisel.
