Description

This small house, located at 37 Thame Road, dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with timber lintels and features a thatched roof with a brick gable stack. The house has a two-unit plan and is one storey high with attics. The front has two windows, each with small two-light casements on the ground floor and in the dormers. The entrance is located in the right gable wall next to the fireplace. There is a small stone and weatherboarded extension against the left gable. The roof is half hipped to the left over a timber-framed gable with brick infill. This house remains unaltered, and the interior has not been inspected.
