Description
The Farm is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with possible earlier elements. It is constructed of limestone rubble with timber lintels and features a plain tile roof with brick ridge stacks. The building has a gable-fronted, four-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The front has four windows, with a central door that is sheltered by a 20th-century porch. On either side of the door, there are three-light casements at both the ground and first floors. The bay on the extreme left is set back and includes a 20th-century porch for a secondary entrance, along with a small ground-floor window that has a stone lintel. The bay on the extreme right has a steeper pitched roof with a gable parapet facing the road. The street-facing side features sash windows on both floors and in the gable. The interior has not been inspected.
