Description

Spokes Farmhouse, now a house, was likely built in the middle or late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with brick dressings and has a plain tile roof with brick gable stacks. The house follows a three-unit plan. The front elevation has three windows across two storeys. A door is positioned to the left of the centre, flanked by three three-light casement windows on each floor. These windows feature brick quoins, sills, and segmental arches. Rear windows are largely 20th-century replacements. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a large internal breast, plank doors, and a staircase that rises from the central room.
