Description

This fountain, located approximately 50 meters to the northeast of Haseley Court, is a 20th-century structure that likely incorporates features from the 18th century. It is made of limestone and has a rubble retaining wall at the top of the canal. The wall includes masonry piers with ball finials on either side of a lion mask that spouts water into a large oval stone basin from the 18th century, which has a gadrooned design up to half its height. The fountain is part of the garden created by Mrs. Nancy Lancaster.
