Description
Playhatch House is an early 18th-century house situated in Eye and Dunsden. The structure is primarily grey brick with red dressings, and has a plain tile roof with a brick stack to the left end. It follows a two-unit plan and displays an original five-window range across two storeys. A central entrance features a six-panel part-glazed door with a flat hood supported by brackets. Segmentally topped sash windows, each with twelve panes and thick glazing bars, are present in all openings. The windows are set within rubbed brick arches, and a brick band defines the division between the ground and first floors. A hipped roof covers the main block, and a single-storey wing extends to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
