Description

Brightwell Park features a bridge and flanking walls constructed around 1790-1800. The bridge is rendered over brick with limestone dressings and has an elliptical arch. It is topped by a cast-iron openwork balustrade parapet made by Wilder, which includes honeysuckle motifs that crown three divisions. The flanking walls are paneled and terminate in square piers that have moulded limestone caps. The structure is located approximately 290 meters east of Brightwell Park.
