Farmhouse, now 2 houses, Late C18 possibly partly earlier. Brick in Flemish bond with flared headers and some limestone rubble; old plain-tile roof with brick ridge stack. Lobby-entry U-plan. One storey plus attic. Symmetrical 3-window front, with rendered plinth and 3-course storey band, has plank door with 4-pane sash to left (both with segmental arches), and an enlarged casement to right; 3 sashes in half dormers. Half-hipped roof has central stack, Lower rubble rear wing to left; contemporary brick rear wing to right with blocked segmental-arched windows and a gabled dormer. Blocked rear door behind central stack. Interiors not inspected. Cast-iron pump attached to rear wing of No.28.
