The building opposite numbers 6 and 8 on West Street is a 17th-century structure. It is a lightly constructed, timber-framed building located at the rear of number 54 Market Place. The upper floor features square panels with diagonal braces, while the ground floor is made of brick nogging with red brick. There is one end loft door facing the street, and the building has an old tiled hipped roof.
