Description
The Chaplaincy is an early 18th century building located on the north side of Goring Heath. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and features brick end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, arranged in a three-window range. There is a six-panel door located in a lean-to on the right return. The central window is a 12-pane sash, with 16-pane sashes on both the left and right sides. A brick band runs between the ground and first floors, and there is a 12-pane sash window in the centre of the first floor, flanked by 16-pane sashes. The eaves are adorned with a brick band and a parapet. The roof features three hipped dormers, each with two-light leaded casements and lead ridges. The interior has not been inspected but is expected to be of interest.
